Physical Activity Network Charity Fundraiser – Lap for the NHS
We would like to invite your child to be involved with our forthcoming partnership charity fundraiser, ‘Lap for the NHS’. The aim of the fundraiser is to raise as much money as possible for the NHS through Leicester Hospitals Charity.
Inspired by Captain Tom Moore, Leicester City School Sport & Physical Activity Network have teamed up with Learning South Leicestershire School Sports Partnership to challenge children of key workers to do 100 laps of their school playground and children at home to do 500 laps of their garden, or equivalent space in their local area. By doing so they will be raising money for the NHS Leicester Hospital Charity and getting exercising at the same time.
The charity challenge can be done individually or families and school children can participant in a relay. The laps can be split over a maximum of 5 days, this means the challenge can be done during break and lunch times in schools. The deadline to complete the ‘Lap For the NHS’ is Friday 22nd May 2020
